App Switcher Gesture in PUBG Mobile (iPhone 12)

Hello! I’m wondering if there is a way to change the gesture to open the app switcher on iPhone 12 - I play PUBG Mobile and find that many of the idle menu buttons and in-game aiming functionalities can be too easily disrupted by that little bar at the bottom.

Is there a way to move it to the top or side, or make it so the bar doesn’t disrupt buttons located at the bottom of the screen?

My safe zone is the smallest size it can be and the buttons are still obstructed.
