HomePod connection to an iMac

Is it possible to connect two paired HomePod mini's to my 2020 iMac running Big Sur 11.2.3?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.2

Yes, once paired they should show up as AirPlay target from Music, TV, or the Mac's own volume control.
