I have a old iPad 2. When the iPad was set up they made a pop-mail, to a already existing mail. Now er have a new iPad 8, where we are trying to login to this mail agian, but they Can remember the password. So my question is, how do I get this password? When I look at the info about the mail, I can only see dots, where the password is, i can’t seem to get, how to see the password.

Please help

If you've ever logged in on this email server using Safari, your password may have been saved on the old iPad and might be accessible. On the old iPad, open Settings, scroll down to Passwords (or search for "Passwords" if you can't find it; I'm sorry but I can't be more specific as I'm using a newer version of iPadOS). You'll be prompted to enter your iPad passcode/password. Do so and you will see a long list of websites. Tap the one for the email provider to reveal the password in clear text.

I found the location of the setting in my (very old) iPad 1: Open Settings, scroll down to Safari and tap it and then tap Passwords.
