AppleCare plan

I'm trying to register my applecare plan, but after entering serial number I've got following error:

"We’re sorry, but we’re unable to verify your serial number at this time. Please try again later."

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

You may need to contact Apple support. Where/when did you buy the device and the Applecare? Is the device new or used?

Are they an authorized reseller? You do need to contact Apple; do not know if you can purchase Applecare purchased at a third party place. I also do not know if Applecare is available in your country.

I bought it new at Costco Mexico on April 4, 2021.
