When will you fix the auto brightness issue?

I saw that there were some posts about the auto brightness option missing on series 6. Please understand there are people in the world that have eyesight problems and need for the screen to be fully bright even in dim light. Please add the option to disable that function. People have been complaining about this for months and no actual official response was given.
