Airpod Damage causing opening of buds and mis function of it’s microphones

Hello, I am having some troubles from my Second Generation AirPods (with wired charging case).Recently, the microphone does not function properly, with some examples including when used during zoom on my laptop, my voice cannot be heard and when i receive a call on my Iphone 11, my voice cannot be heard with my AirPods connected. My AirPods have worked on my laptop and my phone in the past, and the audio from them are fine. This may have resulted from my next problem. As seen in the photos, my buds have started to open due to falling out of my ears. This clumsy ness was a problem from the past and has not happened recently, so I am not too sure if it is a contributing factor. Can someone tell me the next steps I should take for these problems? I’m not sure if there would be different solutions for both, such as repairing, or if I’d have to replace them, but I’d like to know asap so I can move on from my mistakes.

Apple doesn't repair Airpods.

Warranty is 1 year and does not cover physical damage.
