SuperDrive problem

Hello, when I wanted to insert a DVD the SuperDrive in my Mid-2012 MacBook Pro is always ejecting it? Last time I tired it worked but now it seems it’s my working! What is the issue whit the SuperDrive?

If it is only one DVD then the DVD is damaged. If it is any DVD, the drive may just need cleaned. You can find CD/DVD cleaning disks at many office supply stores. Of course it's also possible the drive has failed.

i have been opening my MacBook Pro to see if there was a cable not connected from the SuperDrive to the mother board but everting seems to be connected so why? I haven’t ruined it! So how could it worked before but not now?
