My wife’s iPhone won’t allow me the option to change her Intercom settings from NEVER to anything else. I want her phone to receive intercom messages.
I can easily change this setting on any other device in the house. So why can’t I change it on this device? Is it because my iPhone and hers share the same AppleID?

If any of those are turned off you'll be unable to change that setting. More information about the Intercom feature can be found here: Use HomePod as an intercom
