The worst online shopping experience ever

I decided to ditch my Android and return to Apple after 4 years and I paid off my phone and upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I needed to buy some accessories and the first purchase was plane sailing, but the others were a complete and utter nightmare of an experience.

My card was blocked by Apple for reasons I understand you're looking out for your customers but in a paranoid way. I spoke to my bank and they assured me my card was not blocked and they had not blocked or refused any transactions.

So I thought okay let's update all my billing details and add a card and guess what, Apple still rejected my payment. So I called Apple and spoke to a lovely young lady with a European accent (which I love... Let's not get carried away here). She said my card was blocked and passed me through to sales and the chap I spoke to tried to place an order and he got the same message don't call my bank again and they assured me it isn't their fault and my bank said they see this all the time where Apple blocks transactions. I even used a card that I've never used before and that was blocked as well.

So guess what Apple lost out on a sale and I went to Amazon to purchase the same items I was trying to purchase from Apple. So because of Apples, paranoid OTT system you lost out on a sale.

The worst experience for a new returning customer that I've ever experienced was a nightmare all I wanted to do was buy some accessories and you couldn't even get that right.

Why you blocked my cards I don't know... I will never purchase any accessories from Apple ever again it was the worst shopping experience I've ever been through and was also a waste of my time and making phone calls. I can understand why people get annoyed with customer service when you blocked not one but 2 of my cards is unacceptable.

It is easier to buy them from Amazon and less stressful. I spent £120 on accessories and then you blocked my cards. Thanks, Apple. So I had to buy the others from Amazon at the same price in total £157.00 so, Apple lost out on a sale of £37.00.

You seem confused. Who is this 'You' you're addressing here? Apple aren't here. This forum is users speaking with other users. You need the feedback link:
