Have you though of the possibility of;

  • A bad connection, i.e. HDMI, cable?
  • A bad display?

If not the above, it defiantly sounds hardware related. Here is what I would do;

  • Call AppleCare (not chat), ask for a Senior Advisor, and have the advisor make an appointment and give proper notes about the case to the Apple Store.
  • Go to the Apple Store appointment, and re-explain the issue. Make sure to explain you called AppleCare and talked to a Senior Advisor. Also note you already brought the Mac in, and you are still having issues. Be very clear and polite.

In the end, issues happen. It can sometimes take multiple calls or appointments. Especially with Macs, and even more especially with the Mac mini and Mac Pro line, since more third party hardware is being used, i.e. the display.

Cheers,

Jack

the following is not a static image It goes for 1:13 and upon shut down it recovered 3 days ago I had to do the a full shut down and it was two different monitors, there are other glitches but its early today and I don't want to spend more hours on the issues I beginning to feel that I have paid Apple for the privilege of talking to apple support as I am close to six hours on working on the unresolved issues not including the many time that I have done internet recoveries on this Mac mini.
