Dear Apple - Please stop this

Just a quick request. When users call in for AppleCare Support on Catalina, please STOP automatically recommending the user to upgrade to Big Sur. Unless you have a way to easily roll back the OS or continue comparability, you're doing a disservice to some.

I'm aware that software developers need to adapt to the new OS sooner, but Apple's schedule is the problem in my eyes.

Mac mini, macOS 11.2

Thanks! I've gone that route for many years. All valuable data is now on two platforms in the cloud, and none of it is under contract to be retained for any period of time, only best effort. Thanks again, sincerely, for the recommendations.

I suppose my gripe is to ideally forewarn anyone who contacts AppleCare to urge the agent to attempt to solve the problem rather than simply making a blanket recommendation to upgrade the OS to the next release.
