Apple pay

For my safety when I make a transaction threw Apple Pay a 16 digit code is used instead of the actual 16digit code of my card that is connected. What I need now is a proof that Apple is using that code otherwise I won’t be able to verify my account on an online gaming company .

Right now when I tap my card in the Apple wallet app, it shows a message that says “Call Santa Cruz community credit union to verify your card for Apple Pay.“ But when I call my bank, they tell me that Apple should have sent me some kind of security code, but they didn’t.
