Mouse scrolling is stuck in inspector window, instead of timeline.

In Final Cut Pro, I've started using a new mouse (Logitech MX Master 3) and was using the horizontal scroll wheel to scrub through the timeline. I must have hit a key or something because suddenly the horizontal scroll is scrolling in the Inspector window instead of the timeline. Does anyone know how to switch the scroll function back to the timeline?

I use a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and can horizontally scroll the timeline using the horizontal scroll wheel.

My experience with the Master 3 has been that the software can be a bit flakey.

Have you disconnected and the re-connected your mouse via Bluetooth?

Unfortunately even when I use command-2 and make the timeline active, it's still horizontally scrolling in the inspector!

Meanwhile, vertical scroll is working in whichever section my cursor is hovering over (so I can vertical scroll in timeline when my cursor is over it, but then if I horizontal scroll, it does it in the inspector).
