PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I'm stucked with an error in my Youtube app "Error loading. Tap to retry". I tried all the possible solutions that are available that I found online but i'm still getting the error.

  1. I tried to uninstall and re-install.
  2. I tried to reset ALL the content and settings then re-install again.
  3. I tried in Date and Time Settings to "Set Automatically"
  4. Airplane mode

But the error is still there. I hope someone can help to fix.

Actually, if you still had the older YouTube app, Google/YouTube just recently ended all support and functionality of this older version of this YouTube app.

So, no more YouTube app for iOS 9 and 10 devices, any longer!

You will need to access the YouTube Website through a Web browser, now, and logging in to the YouTube Website uzuning yiur YouTube login credentials.

Also, I would STOP using that well over 4-year old default iOS Safari Web browser, as it is too old, not secure and not safe to use to access the Internet, any longer.

There are virtually NO MORE third party Web browsers left for 8-10 year old iPads!

Available and more popular third party Web browser choices are pretty much GONE, now.

If you must use these old iPad models, here is what is left for still updated Web browsers.

Pickins’ are slim, now!

ALook Web browser ( A fairly new Web browser primarily designed for old iOS device versions, but is still available to newer iOS/iPadOS devices, as well )

Dolphin Web browser

Maxthon Web browser

TOR private browser

TOR + VPN private browser

Turbo VPN private browser

This is pretty much it for iOS 9/10 compatible, third party Web browsers today.

Use one of these more “up to date”, third party Web browsers from now on.

Accessing YouTube from ANY third party Web browser on this old an iPad will be much slower, BUT WILL work!

Good Luck to You!

The YouTube App (and service) now require iOS11 or later - which your iPad does not support.

iPad2, iPad3 and iPad mini1 can only be updated to iOS 9.3.5 (WiFi Only models) or iOS 9.3.6 (WiFi & Cellular models).

Apple ended update support for these models in September 2016. Your iPad cannot be updated to iOS 10 or later major versions of iOS, as the internal hardware does not meet the minimum technical requirements for new versions of iOS/iPadOS. This limitation cannot be bypassed; these are 32-bit architecture devices, whilst all recent versions of iOS/iPadOS are designed for 64-bit hardware platforms. iPad2, iPad3 and iPad mini1 are obsolete.

You may wish to consider that compatible Apps for your iPad are increasingly difficult to find - as third-party developers are increasingly dropping support for older versions of iOS preceding iOS11/12/13. As older versions of Apps are removed from the Apple App Store, you’ll not be able to (re)download or install them - which may severely limit the usefulness and utility of your iPad. As such, if you want or need to access most current Apps, requiring more recent versions of iOS, you’ll need to consider replacement of your iPad with a newer or current model.

Of current models, even the entry-level iPad8 has specifications and capabilities that will massively outperform you current iPad - and is compatible with the vast majority of current Apps. Other models are more powerful still.

I hope this information provides helpful and succinct clarity as to your available options - and the limitations of your current iPad.

Because Google/YouTube decided to no longer continue to support a 32-bit app running on now 9-10-year old Apple iOS devices running on a nearly 5-year old iOS version.

That is why.

Almost ALL third party developers have removed their older, 32-bit version apps from the iOS App Store.

This started happening around 2018 and has continued to this day.

You cannot get very many apps, any longer for any iOS devices running iOS 10 and earlier.

That is the way it is.

As I stated some time ago, use a Web browser to access the YouTube Website, instead.

It will take much longer to load videos from the Website, using a Web browsers, but YouTube accounts and videos all still work and play.

Google did this back sometime in late February/early March 2021.

Nothing to be done accept purchase a new or more up to date iPad that supports the latest iPadOS and all the most current apps.

Sorry & Good Luck!`
