Airpods flashing amber light?

Hi, I've recently bought a replacement airpod and when it got here I tried to pair it and it didn't work. I've tried holding down the reset button but the case is just continously blinking amber. Also when I take one or both of them out it turns green.

One AirPod flashes orange and doesn’t connect, while one is green and does. One of my AirPods when placed in the case flashes amber, while the other is normal and is green. I have charged them both equally and I have also done a thorough clean of the end of the airpod and the charging port in and outside the case. The AirPod no longer connects to my phone or other devices but the other one does. The marks in the case in this image are just sharpie as I had to mark it was mine within my family sorry.I have also tried a factory reset multiple times with no prevail. I would appreciate some help.

Replacement AirPod starts flashing orange in the case I ordered a replacement AirPod and everytime I put it in my case the case just starts flashing orange [Re-Titled by Moderator]
