I started with the Migration Assistant at 3.00pm yesterday and it is now 6.32AM which makes it 15.5 hours and counting. How long does it take?
How long does it really take to transfer? It’s been 15.5 hours and running.

How long it takes depends on several factors such as how much data you have to transfer, how the two machines are connected to each other, and whether the old Mac has a slow or bad drive, or a file system issue that can slow things down.
