Apple Watch "Stand" Activity Malfunctioning

I purchased an Apple Watch SE a few days ago and the "Stand" activity seems to be glitched. It displays that I spend most of my day standing, though truly I spend basically all of my day sitting at my desk. The watch is running the latest os update and I made sure that all my health information is up to date. Is it a calibration issue? Or should I bring it to an Apple store to get it checked?
