When i record a video the sound is barely audible yet no problems with sound through general conversation or facetime

You’re mistakenly associating device sound with device mic intake. Big difference, recorded videos utilize device mic intake... you MUST reposition iphone toward direction of area or person(s) you wish to video. It is highly recommended you get closer to such areas and person(s).

I have the same issue with the voice memo. And no it is not pointing at it that matters. iPad has been reset with no difference.
When I try and record a video with sound the voices are barely audible. My volume is all the way up. No problems with sound on face time or through regular phone conversations. What could be my issue?
