My iPad asked me to put my password followed by the verification code. I tried several times doing that, but I always receive a message that entering the password followed by the verification code is wrong. How can I solve this issue??
Are you attempting to enter your Password and Verification code separately, one after the other, or at the same time?
If you have an older model iPad, you should enter them together - appending the Verification Code to your Password. For example, if your Password is “PasswordABC” and the received Verification Code is “123456”, you will need to enter “PasswordABC123456” on the iPad.

I have had the same problem, but trying to log on to apple TV. I have entered in the passward and code in the format you have shown, but still comes up with error.
