Slack Notifications on Apple Watch - Responses not going through

Hello,

I am receiving Slack Notifications fine on my Apple Watch, but any time I dictate or compose a response on the watch and send it, it does not go through. On the watch it appears like it sent, but when I return to my computer or phone my responses are not there.

Responding to iMessage is working perfectly.

Anything I can troubleshoot? Is this a Watch / Notifications issue or a Slack issue?

Hey LHHJ,

From what we understand, you're unable to send a response to a Slack message on your Apple Watch. To determine if the issue is with the Apple Watch or the app, you'd want to go through troubleshooting steps. Start with making sure your iPhone and Apple Watch is up-to-date. Next, make sure all apps are up-to-date. Afterward, power off the iPhone, power off the Apple Watch, power on the iPhone, and then power on the Apple Watch. A simple restart has resolved many software related issues.

If you continue to experience the issue, remove the Slack app from iPhone and then re-install it. Then, make sure notifications for the Slack app is still enabled by going to the Watch app from iPhone > Notifications > Mirror iPhone alerts from: > Slack.
