Safari is corrupted on my MacBook Air and I'd like to reinstall this component. I have five tabs that will not close and despite following advice to delete certain folders, the errant tabs remain upon restart.

Safari app cannot be deleted. https://support.apple.com/en-md/HT202235
Make sure these tabs are pinned.
If they are pinned, unpin it.
Right click the pinned tab in the tab bar and choose "Unpin Tab"
