You need to follow these instructions→Get your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ready for service - Apple Support

sea116 is not correct; you must erase the phone before sending it to Apple (or anyone else).

iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support

You don't need to do anything with your iPhone as long as you're sending it to apple.
