iOS 14.4.2 Norwegian Predictions Not Showing / Swipe - Slide keyboard not working / No Auto-Correct

Hey!

I just got the iPhone 12 mini, and in the dictionaries I've added Norwegian as second language.

When I select keyboard input with the globe (long press) and set it to English (UK) I get swipe and predictions as expected

As soon as I switch it to Norwegian I don't get predictions nor swipe. It is pure manual type with 0 prediction or auto-correction.

I also tried GBoard but that didn't work either.

Is this a known issue? I see a lot of people having problems with this. It's even gone all the way back to early iOS 14.

Will it persist for long? Hot fixes in the works? It's a dealbreaker as I have to be able to write in both languages at a decent pace.

For 3rd party keyboards like GBoard, you have to contact the people who make them regarding any thing not working the way you expect.

Apple doesn't yet support Norwegian in its QuickType according to the specs it publishes:
