My phone does NOT have enough storage to open some phone apps....

I have added I cloud space and thought it would transfer some photos and videos from my phone to the Icloud to make storage space...

It has NOT...

How do I do that?

why does purchasing icloud storage does not free up space on my phone I purchased icloud storage to free up space on my iphone but there is still no free space available on my phone. I purchase storage so I can have photos and videos on icloud but my phone storage is still full. why isn't this space free on my phone now that I have purchase storage??? I have deleted so many apps just to keep my messages coming in. Someone help! I also do not have enough storage to do a software update. My icloud storage shows the new space availabe from the purchase but my general iphone storage still shows on as full with the photos taking up space. Can someone explain and help me.

The only way to gain space is to delete photos, messages, apps, etc.. Be sure to save important photos and data to your computer or external drive. Check these links...
