After I downgraded my MacOs from Mojave to Catalina, I lost my music on my iPhone.

After installing Catalina, my iPhone was no longer showing up wirelessly on MacBook music app. I connected my iPhone to my MacBook via wire, and MacBook started "Backup" of my iPhone. Now, my iPhone has lost all the music I had moved on it from my MacBook manually, and all the playlists I had created on it, are also gone; even though, now through wifi connection, when my iPhone shows up on my MacBook, I double click on it, and the list displays all the music on my iPhone on the MacBook, but on my iPhone, I don't see any of that music!!!! How can I get my music back on iPhone?

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Hey there!

If you went from Mojave to Catalina, the syncing feature has changed. Now instead of using iTunes/Music app, Finder is used to do the syncing:

Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer:

It’s a bit different, but easy to adjust to. If this isn’t the case, let me know!
