ICloud Mail is Slow

Still following this thread. Same issues as stated above but Mine started late April - As of now 12:47 pm on the east coast all is normal!

First day— crossing my fingers it stays normal

Nothing normal in the Baltimore/Washington area as shown on the map I posted.

Yeah I'm in NYC and it continues to be awful here. I think my issues may have also started in April but it seems to have gotten much worse in the past month or so.

Not sure there is a connection. Our original Apple ID is about 20 years old and it’s the iCloud account that is working fine.

My iCloud emails are being so slow to download - both on phone & through my laptop - does anyone have an answer for this? Makes it almost impossible to use

Extremely slow on both mac and iPhone.... again.

iCloud mail extremely slow on ALL devises. iPhone, MacBook, iPad. Its not a device issue.

Nothing yet here. 10:25am and it took a minute 30 for the notification for your post to load. Everything was ok around 9am. Apple just needs to turn iCloud over to Google.

Yep almost exactly at 10am EST everything started to crawl again. This is the most consistent behavior of any service I’ve ever seen.

Don’t know about the Archive idea. I have maybe 100 emails total between 2 iCloud accounts currently in my inboxes. None are unread. So total amount of inbox emails is irrelevant to this issue.

I agree. It’s the weekend when things are usually back to normal. For me Monday at 10am will be the witching hour, unless that’s a holiday?🤷‍♂️😃

I just got a follow up email from the Apple Support rep saying that engineering had made good progress on this. Hope that holds up through the week.

We shall see on Monday morning around 10.

11:05am and all seems good! 👍

Not on my end. Everything worked flawlessly on all my devices ALL weekend and then this morning at 9AM Central Time...back to being SLOW on everything device and no syncing of messages.
