How can I buy items for iTunes now? The platform seems to force me to AppleMusic

Help. I've tried to make two purchases on iTunes. When I click to buy, I no longer find a path to "purchase". Instead, the platform assumes I'm on AppleMusic, and the only choices are to gift the music to somebody else. Whatever happened to the good old-fashioned idea of me buying music from Apple to load up on my iTunes player (ipod/itouch)
