I can print (Epson Workforce 545) on my older Mac (iMAC, mid 2010, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6) but not on my newer MacBook Air, macOS Catalina, 10.15.6. I print through my wiFi in my house. I get an error message from the printing queue, "Printing, filter failed".

Last night I tried deleting and adding my printer, but that did not help. Today I tried it again, and I could not get my printer to show up in System Preferences after I deleted it and clicked on the Plus sign. I waited several minutes, but it never showed up. I restarted my laptop, and this time three printers showed up. Each one was my Epson printer, and one of them indicated that it was associated with my iMac and AirPrint. I selected that one, and now I can print from my MacBook Air!!
Is the Printer AirPrint compatible ? These are the lated offering from Epson for Big Sur
