Blue Yeti Nano mic not detected until it is unplugged and plugged back in

I have a Mac mini 2020 (M1) with Big Sur.

The Yeti Nano works, but most of the time, it is not automatically detected by the Mac. By that I mean, that it does not immediately show up in the list of input devices in the Sound preference pane. I can make it show up by unplugging the USB connector and plug it back in. Then it works for a while, but I have to repeat this action frequently.


Can I do anything to make the Yeti Nano be detected automatically all the time?

Mac mini 2018 or later
