I'd like to delete a user, which is me under a slightly different name, maybe set up in error when I got a new Mac. It's shown as standard but is ticked as logged in. I don't know what the password is associated with this user so I can't seem to get rid of it. Thanks
Restart your Mac
Log into your Admin account
Open System Preferences > Users & Groups
Unlock the padlock
Select the user you want to delete
Click the minus sign
Do not save the user folder.
