iPhone 7 running 14.4.2 "system other" is all of my available space (22.46 GB). Force clear somehow?
This has been addressed so many times though other posts, the "OTHER" taking up all by hard drive space. So, I don't expect any resolution (but it would be awesome of some Apple software engineer DID have a fix!)
My iPhone 7 is a 32GB; 6.76 GB is the system, and a whopping 22.46 GB is other! My photos is the largest thing at only 788.1MB. So my phone keeps telling me I should delete large files. I don't HAVE any large files. Think about it, 32 GB minus the system & system "other" leaves me only 3 GB or so for my own apps & files. Apple has a real problem here that they can't seem to fix. (unless it's by design forcing me to get a new phone... perhaps a new Galaxy is my future.)
I've restarted so many times (I do every 2~ 3 days just to get Verizon to work properly with my hotspot).
I've restored many times too... the "other" bloats again to take my entire 32 GB. AND, I don't use my phone to surf, watch TV, do social media, NOTHING. (talk, text, email and maps).
Any thoughts?
