Health > Heart Rate Data

In exploring the Health app for Heart Rate data connected to my Apple Watch 5, I noticed that while it records my heart rate, the “Latest” data is from Sep 2030 and a constant 78 BPM. My exercises all record from the Fitness > Workout section but this is causing connectivity issues with the Mirror workout device I use. Attached below is a photo from a recent screen capture.

Any advice on how to resolve?

Hi TheLerve,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. We can definitely understand how concerning it could be to see a future date for your health app data. What do you use as a source for your health data? If you scroll to the bottom of that health page > Data Sources & Access, do all of the apps that show here have the correct date and time set up? How about the devices that show under "Data sources". You mentioned using a mirror workout device, is the date and time correct on that device?

You can also be sure that all if your devices are up to date running the latest software.

Here are some resources that can help:

Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch

Update your Apple Watch

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! This prompted me to go to the Health app again and look at all captured data. Health > Show All Health Data.

From there I tapped Heart Rate, scrolled all the way to the bottom and in the Options section selected Show All Data. The top data set for some reason was data recorded from Sep 2030. I swiped left and deleted that log item.

Everything seems to be syncing correctly, that future date data was blocking any current readings from being “current” on my device.
