Downloading from iTunes to USB

I'm trying to move music I purchased from my iMac to a USB stick but am unable. Not exactly sure as some does transfer. Ideas??

Some versions of iTunes don't appear to like to drag files directly to flash drives. You can try dragging to a folder on your desktop first, then move that folder or the files to the flash drive.
