Big Sur - Adobe InDesign Freezing Whole Laptop Shut Down

Hello, I recently bought the new Macbook Pro M1 and ever since I have not been able to use my InDesign programme as it keeps freezing my whole laptop, (can't use force quit or any keys when it happens) so have to hold the main power button to turn it off and start again. It happens all the time, every 10 minutes or so when I use it and I am on the newest Big Sur 11.2.3 update (if this makes any difference) and my InDesign documents aren't big, they are not corrupt, they just seem to freeze every time when using them. Adobe do not reply and seems like a system bug, but no error codes appear when this happens it just freezes until you shut it down.

I have lots of Uni work to get on with, is there a solution at all or any way I can have this fixed please?
