This is in an iPhone 7 ( 14.4.1 )
First time ever - got the above message yesterday regarding a text message received from a new acquaintance.
Nothing in settings indicates now or ever to block unknown contacts etc...
Any idea what’s going on? fix?

This is perfectly normal. Every time I receive an iMessage from someone I do NOT have in my contact list, I get this option, in case it is SPAM. You can either choose to add your new acquaintance to your contact list, or simply ignore the ability to report.
There is no local list of reported iMessage SPAM messages on your iPhone.

How do I turn this feature on? There’s no report spam option on my iPhone SE (14.4.2) and I get hundreds of them. Its terrible, and when I’m traveling internationally, expensive.
Apple please work on blocking messages from unknown or computer generated numbers!!!!!
It is not possible to turn on the function. However, it only works with iMessage messages.
