How can I watch Apple TV on my Sony that does not have apple app.
The movie are on my Mac air computer. Screen mirroring hasn’t worked for me, new to apple computer.

If your Sony TV is AirPlay/AirPlay2 compatible, you should be able to redirect your Mac display to appear on the TV. Failing AirPlay support, you can cannect an HDMI cable between your Mac and the TV, and switch to that HDMI port in your TV settings.
