I cannot access my iCloud email. I upgraded my storage and I can't receive emails or send.

Well I called apple last week twice. First time she told me to make sure EVERYTHING IS UPDATED. It didn't fix the problem. So I called back and we did a couple things and then she said to push rebuild the mailbox. I finally received and found all of my emails. Thank GOD. Its my business account. So I was out of my mind for a week
