my phone was in my purse and I guess it went into sos mode. I received a call from my mom asking if I was ok because she received a message that I was in danger. please help me turn this off. thanks.

If you start the countdown by accident, you can cancel. On iPhone 8 or later, release the side button and Volume button. On iPhone 7 or earlier, press the Stop button, then tap Stop Calling.
