Seiko 650 Smart Label Printer

Why is it that Apple keep ignores the questions on this site asking for help regarding the SII Seiko 650 Label Printer's that will not work anymore with the Big Sur updates.. when you call Seiko their support staff says they don't understand why it won't work with the apple update either.. so here go with finger pointing both ways.. I am so tired of Apples lack of support, when you pay a premium price for their computers.. I expect more from them.. Just figure it out

Third party developers are responsible for updating their products to work with Apple's updates, not the other way around. Have you downloaded the latest software from the developer?

You may need to update your label printer.

I had to go through the same thing with a developer recently, it started with me asking about an updated version because I believed their app was causing kernel panics. They eventually released an update that corrected the problem but there were several emails back and forth troubleshooting and testing. In the end they were great and I've been over a week with no panics. Hopefully you have the same result.

I don't know anything about your label printer perhaps there are still some things you haven’t tried. Is the printer wireless or usb? Have you reset the printing system and reinstalled the printer? Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support
