I'm having this problem too since updating to IOS 14.5. When going to sleep with the audible app on sleep timer the sound dies as soon as the screen goes to sleep but the app keeps playing. The only work around I have come up with is to force close the app then restart. Then restart the timer and manually close the screen with the right button. This allows the app to continue to play.
I installed the audible app and then reinstalled it. That fixed the issue for me.
in Settings \ AirPlay & Handoff turn off Transfer to HomePod and Handoff. This fixed it for me.
Same here. All of the above solutions only last for about a day.
Under Settings, go to Screen Time.
Scroll down to Always Allowed.
Scroll down to Audible and tap the green plus to add it to the Allowed Apps.
Was having this issue too but your advice worked! Turned ‘Media & Apple’ music off & back on. Audible restated automatically & now it’s working- thank you!!
This solution did the trick!
Yes. Thanks!!
I found in Audible settings on the app itself a “disable AUTO LOCK button
This worked for me after the iOS 15 update rendered audible unusable when screen auto locks. Thank you!
