Creating a bleed on a pages document?

This question does not appear to have been asked since 2009, 12 years on are apple any closer to allowing a bleed on a pages document in an easy way? Our small charity had used pages to create a great looking magazine, but the printer is demanding a document with bleed. Or should I just convert it to pdf, open it in acrobat and do it there

Do the Pages PDF post processing in Adobe Acrobat Pro, and confirm with the printer what other PDF document standard (PDF/X-3, etc) features they expect from you. No version of Pages including the current v11 provides bleed, printer marks, or can produce a PDF/A, or PDF/X standard PDF on export.

As Pages was designed to be a consumer product and not a Professional prepress application (e.g Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Quark, Affinity Publisher, etc.), that would explain why Apple has never added these advanced features.

On the Pages application menu is a Provide Pages Feedback menu item that goes directly to the Pages product team. No version of Pages has ever provided any printer marks or bleed feature since its inception in 2005.

Presently, for $25 (non-subscription) you can get Affinity Publisher from the Mac App Store and it provides all manner of bleed, printer marks, and PDF/X standards output. It is a professionally featured application at consumer prices. It can be trialed from the Affinity site.
