Mac App Store does not recognize installed Apps

Hi,


My Catalina App Store is not recognizing the previous downloaded applications.

I can download applications but after restarting Catalina 10.5.4, applications are listed in my account but without the "OPEN" button, instead I see the download icon.


The issue was already discussed on this question.


Will Catalina 10.15.7 update fix this issue ?


Any feedback will be appreciated.

Running Catalina 10.15.4 - for sure. Manually Download the Standalone Installer. Once downloaded - suggest running a Time Machine Backup first. Then restart computer in Safe Mode - Shift - Immediately at startup. It does a repair Disk, clears cache files and only loads Apple Software so loads slowly - Normal. It will look and perform differently - Also Normal. The run the Installer and follow the prompts.
