Location of my air pods
How accurate is the location on find my iPhone app? My air pods were stolen and it shows two different locations, I have try the sound on and it says that they are not connected. Help please my daughter is devastated!
It isn't the same as locating a lost iPhone. Airpod location goes by Bluetooth and when they were last seen by your iPhone/iPad. Bluetooth is only effective to a hundred feet or so and will only tell you if they are detected and does not provide a geographic location for the Airpods. If they were stolen and the thief has taken them out of reception range then your highly unlikely to locate them. The location features are only really effective if you misplaced your Airpods.
