Daisy chain 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K Displays on Mini M1
Apple product page says you can daisy chain two 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K displays because they have dual TB-3 ports on the back.
However, it does not work on my brand new Mac Mini M1. Only one displays will work at a time, sometimes the first in the daisy chain, sometimes the second. Both displays are brand new, both work. However, daisy chaining between them with a TB3 cable does not work. Is there an OS setting required to daisy chain the signal, or is there a specific set of TB3 cables needed? I'm using the cables that came with the monitors. The alternative is to convert the HDMI from the Mini to TB3 for the second display, but not sure if there is an adapter that does this (most are one-way USB-C out to HDMI in to monitor). Besides, if they say it's compatible with Mini M1 and you can daisy chain them, then it should work - this is the most elegant way to use these in a dual monitor setup.
Hoping this works - these are pricey monitors. Help!!
