How to stop Apple Card monthly paper statements from Goldman Sachs

I want to stop receiving the monthly paper statements from Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs reps say they cannot stop them, talk to Apple. Apple says only Goldman can stop them. I have now spoken several times with reps from both companies, even both in the same conversation, and none know what to do. Goldman says its a problem with my Apple ID email but the Goldman statement has my correct Apple ID printed on the statement. This has been continuing since late 2019. Any ideas about what to do? Cancel the card?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 14

Thanks askbarnabas. Goldman Sachs says their first three emails to me were “not deliverable” and therefore the oaper statements became mandatory. And cannot now be stopped. GS says only way forward is to cancel the card and then re-apply. So I have now cancelled the card.

I originally applied for the card using my Apple ID (email) and it has never changed. Each GS statement has that email orinte$ at the top if first page. Don’t know why it was undeliverable.

Did you update your email address for your Apple ID and for your Apple Card?

this list is for addresses but it works for email also

Address changes

on iPhone

  1. Go to settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>transaction defaults>address - update as needed
  2. Go to Wallet app>tap on any card>tap three dots in corner>tap address - edit as needed for all cards
  3. Go to settings>Apple ID (your name at the top)>payment & shipping>address - edit as needed.

on Mac

open Music>select iTunes Store on the left menu>go to the bottom where it says account>sign in>address - change as needed.

on PC

open iTunes and the rest of the instructions should be the same as for Mac.
