cant get my airpod pro's to connect to my MAC book pro macOS Mojave 10.14.6

been through all the steps of removing and adding the airpod pro's and have rebooted as well. First time setting them up with the macbook pro. They work great on my iPhone 11; which Ive turned off bluetooth on the mobile so there shouldnt be any interference or problem with dual connections.

reset the airpods, and I can see them in the bluetooth devices, but just wont connect.

Greetings,techjunkie_J .

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. Being able to pair your AirPods is vital, so we can understand why you’d want a resolution. It’s good to know that you’re able to pair the AirPods to your iPhone.

“If you can't connect to your Mac

If you're using AirPods (2nd generation), make sure that your Mac has macOS 10.14.4 or later. If you're using AirPods (1st generation), make sure that your Mac is using macOS Sierra or later.

Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth. If your Airpods appear in the list of devices* but they don't connect, remove your AirPods from the list:

  1. Select your AirPods in the list of devices.
  2. Click the X to the right of your AirPods.

Add your AirPods to the device list in Bluetooth preferences again:

  1. Place both AirPods in the charging case.
  2. Open the lid of your charging case near your Mac.
  3. In the device list, select your Airpods and click Connect.” If your AirPods won't connect

We hope this helps. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.

Sincerely.
