Ordered wrong keyboard - possible to switch?

Okay, then contact AppleCare. If it's less than 14 days old you can also return it and re-order for any reason. I'm mentioning this as this might be the easiest route to take if Apple denies the switch.

Did you order it from an Apple Store or from Apple's online store or from a third party retailer.?

To request the change (it's Apple's or the third party retailers choice) you would need to make contact with either:

• AppleCare if you ordered from Apple's online store or
• The Apple store if you bought it from there or
• The third party retailer you bought it from.

Your welcome. I made the same goof when I bought ours last year and Apple was gracious enough to send us the keyboards at their expense, however I had just ordered 2 Imac's at the tune of $7500 so that may be why they were so nice.

It sometimes pays to be very nice, admit your goof and to be a little persistent.

Here's what happened to me in 2019 at the Apple store. Ordered a new 21/5" iMac. It arrived with the non numerical key board. After about a week I decided I wanted the numerical keyboard. Went to the Apple store and they traded for $30 difference. Was notified a week later via email that they were refunding my $30. Pretty good deal considering my decision regards my first keyboard choice.
