My Mac has been wonky for a couple days. First it couldn't backup to the time capsule. I bought a new external drive and got it to back up to that. Now i'm getting icloud errors like the photo. Safari is freezing and finder sometimes shows icloud files, sometimes doesn't. Logging into icloud with Chrome can access everything except the files app.

I've re installed the os using the recovery. Icloud seems to be working but now safari is frozen. Malware bytes found nothing. There may be some files from old apps that I missed when removing them. Etra check shows a lot of kernel panics. The apple self check says all hardware is functioning properly.
Well, this is interesting. Using the process to remove the cache doesn't work. "Remove" and "remove all" pops up a confirm window, click remove now and nothing happens. Is there a root folder that can be deleted manually? Perhaps the entire cache folder?
