Damaged files....move to bin

It has just cost me $250 for IT specialists to remove all my files....remove the “SUSPECT” Catalina OS and reinstall another downloaded Catalina OS. And reload all my files. Everything back to normal now....what has Apple to say about this. The techno’s said it was definitely the OS causing the error massages.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
