Apple Numbers Preserve Data when pasting into 'master' chart

Hey all,

Just trying to take a chart of football stats that divides data by a total to get a percentage and copy and paste it into a 'master' chart while preserving the original sum the percentages were being divided by from their 'home' chart.

I've done this on another project years ago but need a refresher.

I am aiming to copy and paste several 'home' charts into a 'master' chart and have them be able to maintain the original percentage determined by referencing their 'home' chart data.

Appreciate the help!

Is there a need to recalculate the data on the 'Master Chart', or is the 'Master Chart' essentially a fixed record of the values calculated on the 'Home Charts'?

If the latter, this should do what you want:

Select and copy the data from the 'Home Chart'
Select (single click) the first cell (top left) of the group into which the dat is to be pasted.
Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste formula results.

This will paste the entered data as is, and the last calculated values from cells containing formulas.
